Erikka Watts is the owner of Merit Resources. She started her education at Long Beach City College where she earned an Associates Degree. Then in 2013, she graduated from California State University of Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
Erikka's career started before graduation, gaining experience under three independent professional accountants. Under their care, she was able to build a foundation of knowledge and experience that would further spark her passion in accounting. Erikka was fortunate to be able to work with a variety of small businesses throughout multiple industries. The skills she gained has enabled her to move forward in her career and has brought her to Temecula, CA where she now resides.
A THRIVING CAREER
Opening Merit Resources in 2014 was the beginning of a journey. During the years of building Merit Resource's reputation in a new city, Erikka worked as Controller at a small but very successful winery. After several years of balancing two carreers, she was determined to refocus her expertise wholly on Merit Resources. By 2022, Erikka has been able to establish roots in Temecula, start a family and continue to advance her knowledge by gaining certifications to better the services Merit Resources offers to its clients.
